How to Use EZBack Pro Bench Support Pad
This guide shows how to attach EZBack Pro to benches and common machines and how to position it for a consistent contact point and controlled reps.
1. Equipment and Setup Essentials
- EZBack Pro bench support pad
- Flat, incline, or decline bench, or a cable/machine station
- Clean, dry equipment surface
- Mirror or coach for form feedback (optional)
2. Installing on Benches
- Place the curved side under your mid back to create your preferred arch.
- Wrap and secure the hook-and-loop straps around the bench so the pad is snug and does not shift.
- Adjust position until the pad supports a comfortable setup when you lie down.
3. Installing on Machines
- Attach the pad to the backrest or a stable post at mid-back level.
- Tighten straps so the pad stays in place through your range of motion.
- Perform controlled reps, keeping steady contact with the pad.
4. Training Tips
- Start with light loads (about 20–30% of your usual working weight) while you dial in the setup.
- Use video or a mirror to check consistency between sets.
- Breathe steadily: inhale on the lowering phase, exhale on the lifting phase.
- Use for presses, rows, and chest-supported variations where a stable back contact helps.
5. Care and Maintenance
Wipe with a damp cloth after use, avoid harsh cleaners, and store flat in a cool, dry place. For warranty and support details, see our policy page.
